At Jeet Kune Do Singapore, we believe in keeping things simple, direct and realistic.
Our objective is to practice Jeet Kune Do the way it was originally intended to be taught - for self-defense and self-expression.
Philosophy
Jeet Kune Do is a scientific vehicle of expressing simplicity in the chaos of fighting. Beyond fighting, however, one's journey in JKD eventually transcends martial arts. In JKD, the individual's true goal is to achieve physical and mental breakthroughs through inner reflection and resolution.
Focus
Our focus is on practical self-defense for real life situations. Group classes are intentionally kept small and exclusive. We provide training for complete novices, intermediate martial artists as well as professional competitors looking to reach out to Jeet Kune Do to enhance their martial arts repertoire. Regardless of your age, gender, skill or fitness level, you are welcome to join our family.
Authenticity
Our lineage is the Ted Wong Jeet Kune Do lineage, passed on to us through Sifu Mark Stewart who was Ted Wong's direct disciple. Our material consists of Ted Wong's understanding, refinement and teachings of Jeet Kune Do as it was imparted to him by Bruce Lee. We study not just the ideas and concepts of JKD, but the actual techniques and strategies Bruce Lee taught to his private students.
